Known by his stage name Amr Diab and nicknamed El Hadaba, Amr Abdel Baset Abdel Aziz Diab (born October 11, 1961) is an Egyptian singer, songwriter and actor. He is considered one of the most famous singers in the Arab world; his albums have sold massively and many of his songs have been translated into multiple languages, notably English, Russian, Croatian, Bulgarian, Turkish, Albanian, Hindi, Greek and French. Amr Diab is distinguished for introducing new instruments into his music and creating different styles throughout his career.
